Bill

Bill

Our man about town Managing Director is the man to ask about anything digital, technical or hedonistic. Has successfully come to grips with running the monster that is Holborn Studios. A lifetime Spurs fan who demonstrates his sense of fair play by employing many, many Gooners who he overworks and underpays, of course. Music: Weller & the Gallaghers. Hobbies: Great cars.

Thirah

Thirah

Is our Financial Controller and the official Mum to everyone in the Studios. If you need a cuddle, tea and sympathy then head in this direction and also if you have a plant that is in trouble. A self confessed workaholic, Thirah is the one to speak to if you need to speak about invoices, payments, cauliflowers and kings.

Julia

She is fascinated by popular culture, postmodernism and the power of cinema. Always banging on about the newest cinema releases and festival gems. Julia is a film geek, a fan of good standup, Hampstead on the weekends, strong coffee in the morning and cycling (although inadvertantly bike free now!). She hates to leave for tomorrow that which she can do today and loves working with people – the more the better!

Dean

Dean

“Dixie” Dean is always on hand to help you at the start and finish of your Holborn day with a cheery smile and a good word. A devotee of 60’s soul music and a student of London history, who could have been a contender in his cinematic taste. Dixie’s pride and joy are his two kids - and Southampton.

Kim

Kim

Islington based bon viveur and sophisticated man about town, the whole thing falls to bits when you realise that given his way, he would live in the Emirates ground – for ever. Listens to rock music which he is clearly mad for. But he is a damned good photo assistant, anyway.

Studio technician

Mikey

Our roving digi man and chief trouble shooter so if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire... The Mikey!. An accomplished musician and front man to Kingsize he is a dedicated Dalstonite who has been known, on occasion, to even visit Stoke Newington.

Vince

Our 62 year old founder still puts in a day’s work on occasion. His vast experience will enable him to answer any question you wish, for example “Where is the toilet - where is the bar - which is the way out”. Prone to reminisce about the good ole days. Music = real R&B. Hobbies = life and people.

Paul

Paul

Self described as tall, dark & handsome, local boy Paul clearly has no taste – he supports the Arsenal. Along with our other assistants Paul had developed good lighting skills and is a safe pair of hands around the studio. His film tastes are about action, excitement and achievement – nothing like his team.

Studio technician

Max

Every sorcerer needs an apprentice and Max is proudly ours. He is learning to be a great imaging assistant at a rate of knots and a genuine innovator. He travels from the ends of the earth every day just to be with us. A run of the mill weekend footballer, but then you can’t have everything, can you?

Trainee studio technician

Juan (John Boy)

who has been the manager of the Commissary since June 2011. He brings a wealth of experience from all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world (well Shoreditch, actually) and he walked into ours.

Commissary Manager

Mark

An avid reader, philosopher, inventor and entrepreneur. Mark also pulls a mean pint of beer and he can cook a bit too. If you’ve got about a year spare ask him about his latest invention.

Commissary FOH

Des

Des

Too many of them spoil the broth apparently - so we only have the two. Des is obsessed with getting every tiny detail absolutely spot on for your catering from your breakfasts through lunch to some lovely afternoon teas. Another football fan who would like to see Steven Gerrard made prime minister or king - if the job was going.

Chef

James Taylor

Not that one you fool. Heat and kitchens are what our James is all about. He can cook everything from the sublime to the mundane, but never boring and always of the best quality. James has been known to spin the odd vinyl south of the river and he also supports Liverpool - it was all going so well up to then.

Chef

David

David

Somewhere in the mists of time someone will be able to remember how he picked up the nickname “Rambo” but in the meantime he is our star KP and kitchen organiser. You can always easily spot Rambo – he is the one that is smiling. Downside? Man U Supporter.
